Replaying Mass Effect from the beginning with my original FemShep, Ruthless Spacer Vanguard. I created her when I didn’t know much about how the classes work, but those Renegade points from the Torfan backstory come in handy at times. Even though I always play her as a Paragon.
I think it’s a mark of just how good the writers of ME are that I can happily create entire backstories in my head for all of my Shepard characters and not have them clash at all. For Mahle Shepard, her experiences at Torfan completely shook her up and made her realise that if she wanted to risk lives to get the job done, it could only be her own, not an entire unit. It’s a lot of fun reading my own subtext into dialogue and codex entries.

Fun!
Set (2) of Mass Effect Paragon & Renegade etched shot glasses ($13 for the set)
Lieutenant Commander Shepard can be a virtuous hero of the people, always willing to help the downtrodden or those in need: A Paragon.
On the other hand, Lieutenant Commander Shepard can be a hardened, aggressive, brawler, unwilling to listen to you sobbing pleas for mercy: A Renegade.
Whichever person (or gender) Shepard chooses to be, Shep is always a badass. These Etched shot glasses are double shots (or votive candle holders in case you plan to get romantic with one of the crew before the big mission).
